Live Webcams.
Let people look in on the place they want to be. Camera installation, streaming, and website embeds for waterfronts, venues, and destinations across the Keys.

A live look at the Keys
Good questions.
-
How much does a live webcam cost?
For a full install there is a one-time hardware and install cost that depends on the camera and the mount, then ongoing webcam hosting and monitoring is a flat monthly fee. If you already own a camera, hosting-only is a smaller monthly fee with no install cost. Either way we send a fixed quote after looking at your site or your existing setup.
-
I already have a camera. Can you just host the stream?
Yes. If your camera is streaming-capable (most modern IP cameras are), we take over the encoding, the webcam hosting, the embed on your site, and the 24/7 monitoring, without selling you hardware you do not need. We will check the camera model and your internet connection first; if the existing gear will not survive Keys salt and weather at its mount, we will tell you straight rather than host a stream that dies in six months.
-
What is webcam hosting, and why not just point the camera at YouTube myself?
Webcam hosting is everything between the camera and a reliable player on your website: encoding, the streaming platform, the embed, uptime monitoring, and someone who notices when it goes dark. You can absolutely DIY it, and our setup guide on the blog shows you how. The difference is operations: fog in the lens, a storm-shifted mount, an ISP drop at 2am.
-
Where can I see one running?
See the live directory at the webcam directory, every cam on that page is one we installed, stream, and monitor. Robbie's of Islamorada, La Trattoria on Duval, Sunset Grille, Bagatelle, Baby's Coffee, and others.
-
Does the cam help my SEO?
Yes, directly. A live VideoObject on your page (with the right schema) is an SEO surface in its own right. Plus the OMG directory listing creates a referral path and helps for terms like 'live cam Marathon FL' that send actual visitors.
-
What about privacy / liability?
We work through it on the site survey. Most installations are on public-facing exteriors (street, water, dock) which is straightforward. Indoor cameras require posted notice; we handle the signage spec.
-
Can you take down a live feed temporarily for weather or events?
Yes, pause and resume on demand via the streaming dashboard, or we can do it for you if you call.
-
What happens during hurricane season?
Pre-storm: we run a checklist on every cam, mount inspection, position log, sealing check. For category 3 or stronger, we offer optional dismount and storage, typically at the property. During the storm: streams may go down with internet or power; we have nothing else to do but wait.
-
How does the OMG directory listing actually drive traffic to my business?
The the webcam directory directory page itself ranks for Keys-specific cam queries and pulls visitors who are researching a trip or checking on local conditions. Each individual cam page has a direct link to the property, your name, your address, your website, placed prominently above the embed. The traffic that converts is the visitor who comes for the live view, sees a place that looks worth visiting, and clicks through to book or read the menu.
-
Can I run a cam without listing on the OMG directory?
Yes, the directory listing is optional. Some clients prefer to keep their cam fully owned within their own brand and not show up on a shared property page. That is a legitimate strategic call and we will not push back on it.
