Helping visitors choose their day on the water

The problem.

Someone looking for offshore fishing has different questions from a family considering snorkeling or a sunset outing. With a broad selection of experiences, a charter website needs to make those differences understandable. It also needs to keep practical information close at hand, including departure locations, trip preparation, and policies that matter when plans depend on the weather.

The client.

FishMonster and Island Jane offer fishing charters and island adventures from Key West, with options for anglers, families, and groups. OMG built a website that brings those experiences together without treating them as interchangeable, helping visitors explore the kind of day they want before following a booking link.

What we did.

We organized the site into fishing excursions and island adventures, then gave the individual experiences their own pages. Visitors can explore options such as backcountry fishing, split charters, snorkeling, and private sails without sorting through a single general description. Boat and trip photographs help explain the offering, while frequently asked questions and location information support planning. Booking links connect visitors with the reservation service, and separate shop and contact links keep merchandise browsing and personal inquiries available without replacing the main focus on trips.

The finished project.

The site now presents the range of FishMonster and Island Jane experiences through named categories and dedicated pages. Visitors can move from a general idea to a particular outing, consult planning information, and follow a booking link. It also provides a clear connection to the business's physical presence at the Key West Seaport.

The takeaway.

When a business offers many experiences, the website should organize them around what guests want to do, not expect guests to know the fleet.
