From a big weekend, scattered details To one home for food, music and the fishermen.

The problem.

A festival website needs to create some excitement, but it also has to answer practical questions. Visitors want to know what they can eat, where to go, and how admission works. Vendors and sponsors need different information. For this event, the fishing community behind the celebration deserves just as much attention as the weekend itself.

The client.

The Florida Keys Seafood Festival brings local seafood, music, and families together at Truman Waterfront Park in Key West. OMG’s website and brand work gives that gathering an online home that celebrates the food while helping visitors understand the event and the commercial fishing community it supports.

What we did.

We brought the festival’s food, entertainment, and community purpose together in a website organized around planning a visit. The homepage introduces the waterfront setting, points readers toward the seafood menu and entertainment schedule, and explains the connection to the Florida Keys Commercial Fishermen’s Association. Seafood illustrations and recurring festival artwork give the pages a shared identity. General information, a downloadable map, vendor applications, and sponsor information provide useful next steps without asking every visitor to follow the same route through the site.

The finished project.

The delivered site puts the festival’s main attractions and planning information in one place. Guests can explore the menu and entertainment, while businesses can find ways to participate. Just as importantly, the event is presented as a celebration of the Keys’ working fishing community, rather than simply another date on the calendar.

The takeaway.

An event website works best when the excitement and the practical details sit together, with the community behind it clearly represented.
