From passersby curious about Duval Street To a well-planned visit to the habitat.
The problem.
An attraction website has to inspire a visit and answer the questions that make it possible. Families and travelers may be fitting the conservatory around other plans, so hours, location, admission, and what to expect all matter. The challenge is to provide that information without letting practical details overwhelm the experience itself.
The client.
The Key West Butterfly & Nature Conservatory offers a different kind of island outing, a walk among butterflies, birds, and tropical plants on Duval Street. OMG built a website that introduces that experience while keeping the practical business of planning a visit and finding admission tickets close at hand.
What we did.
We organized the website around experiencing the conservatory and planning a visit. The homepage introduces the butterfly habitat, birds, educational displays, gift shop, and gallery through photographs and short descriptions. Separate sections lead visitors toward planning information, special events, and a closer look at the experience. Ticket links are prominent, with the address, contact details, opening hours, and last admission information available on the homepage. Links to the live webcam and online shop offer additional ways to explore beyond an in-person visit.
The finished project.
The website gives prospective guests a useful preview of the conservatory and a direct route to admission options. Planning details sit alongside the experience rather than apart from it. Visitors can also find the webcam, browse the online shop, and learn about the gallery from the same starting point.
The takeaway.
For an attraction, beautiful imagery earns attention. Clear visiting details help people decide whether and how to make it part of their day.
