Job Description

The Florida Keys premier digital marketing agency is looking for a creative and proactive Social Media Manager to join our growing team. The Overseas Media Group (OMG) needs individuals in Key West, Marathon and the Upper Keys who can develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy that proves to increase web traffic and brand awareness.

As a Social Media Manager, they will be responsible for working with new and existing clients by enhancing their online presence across different social media channels. Responsibilities will include generating unique textual and graphic content for social media platforms to generate user engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Closely manage the daily and strategic digital marketing needs for 5-10 exclusive clients
  • Manage, create and publish original, high quality content across a variety of social channels to achieve marketing targets
  • Administer all clients social media accounts while ensuring up-to-date content
  • Prepare monthly reports on traffic and ROI Monitor SEO and user engagement and suggest content optimization
  • Stay up-to-date with new digital technologies and social media and SEO best practices
  • Website sales and customer service
  • Networking and community involvement

Requirements

  • Proven work experience as a social media strategist or social media manager
  • Hands on experience using social media for brand awareness
  • Ability to work in a sales system
  • Motivation to grow customer base through sales
  • Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics
  • An ability to identify target audience preferences and build content to meet them
  • Familiarity with web design and publishing
  • Excellent multitasking skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Digital Marketing Assistant

Job Description

Overseas Media Group is seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated person who can support our busy digital marketing team while learning the ins and outs of the business and our industry. The person in this role will assist the digital marketing team with all related tasks. The ideal candidate would have social media knowledge and a basic foundation of social media platforms. This role is an entry-level position with the opportunity for advancement. Your main responsibilities will be performing administrative tasks, conducting market research, and monitoring social media engagement to discover high-performing ideas and campaigns.

Responsibilities

  • Administrative tasks (organizing documents in Google drive, troubleshoot & solve account syncing issues, sending blast emails/communication updates to clients, & more)
  • Assist with content creation and market trends research
  • Creating and scheduling social media posts (create captions, research hashtags, best time to post, etc)
  • Manage internal social media accounts for the company (KWN and OMG)
  • Assist with existing social media accounts, large projects, and special events
  • Assist in developing a social media strategy and campaign
  • Read/review and generate monthly performance reports for our clients
  • Work with digital marketing team to create and deploy ads in different social media platforms

Requirements

  • Excellent knowledge of main social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram)
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Eagerness to learn about new innovations and software

  • Management and Organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and meet on deadlines
  • Ability to capture high quality content (photos/videos) for our clients 
  • Ability to follow instructions and initiative to work on projects independently
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, authorized to work in the USA

Compensation

  • Salary negotiable depending on experience and other qualifications.
