Supporting the people keeping Keys waters clean

The Conch Republic Marine Army’s 2025 annual report recognizes Jenny Lorenz from Overseas Media Group for her work keeping more than 12,000 followers informed about cleanup impact and upcoming events.

The nonprofit reports 156 cleanup missions, 41.2 tons of debris removed and 1,487 volunteers engaged across three locations during 2025. Those achievements belong to its crews and volunteers. OMG’s contribution, credited in the report, was helping communicate the work through social media.

It is a relationship we are proud to highlight: local communications supporting the people who care for the mangroves, shorelines and shallow waters that make the Keys home.

Archived under December 31, 2025 to mark the year covered, this retrospective was added October 8, 2026. The annual report includes early-2026 updates and was compiled after year-end. The date above identifies the period being recognized, not the report’s publication date.
