More windows into the Keys: OMG helps plan webcam expansion

April 2026 district advisory committee reports identify Overseas Media Group as the webcam partner helping evaluate additional camera locations in Marathon and Key Largo.

The Marathon report describes two additional cameras, with possible locations including a Seven Mile Bridge view, waterfront businesses and an underwater camera. The Key Largo report also discusses two additional cameras, with potential sites including John Pennekamp, the Wild Bird Center and Rowell’s Waterfront Park.

The documents describe location and cost planning following district-level action in March. Final locations, funding and installation were still subject to further steps. They do not establish that these cameras were installed.
