From thirty years old, no real digital presence To a digital home to match its renovation.
The problem.
A Key West name for more than 30 years, Overseas Market had never had a fully up-to-date, cohesive digital presence. Aside from an outdated Facebook page, OMG was building the center’s digital identity from scratch, while positioning the renovated property as a premium shopping destination without losing the familiarity and community connection that made it home.
The client.
Overseas Market reached out to OMG to build a new website highlighting the property’s recent renovation and refreshed look. Midway through, we saw the chance to take it a step further: build the shopping center’s social media presence from the ground up, drive traffic to the new site, and reintroduce Overseas Market to the Key West community.
What we did.
We launched with a strategic brand voice and elevated messaging under one framing: “Local Faces & Local Places.” The renovation and the more premium elements of the experience lead, but the center’s local identity stays at the core, and the businesses themselves became the key assets of the strategy, showcasing the unique mix of tenants together as one newly elevated Overseas Market.
The finished project.
A renovated property with a refreshed, premium look finally has a digital presence to match: a new website and a social identity built on the shops and people the neighborhood already loves.
The takeaway.
Premium doesn’t have to mean distant. The strongest repositioning moves we make keep the local roots front and center. That’s the part competitors can’t copy.
