Questions Key West owners ask.
How do you work with Key West clients?
We plan site visits, shoots, and review calls around the business and the agreed scope. Tell us where your team works and the times that fit your operation.
Does OMG work with the bigger Key West hospitality operators?
Yes. We have run work for restaurants, bars, resorts, and waterfront attractions in Old Town and around the marina district. The hospitality scope tends to be larger because the customer base is bigger and the seasonal cadence is more intense — peak winter, shoulder summer, dead September. We build the marketing calendar against that rhythm rather than a national one.
Is the Key West market harder than the rest of the Keys?
It is more competitive. Local pack categories that have five operators in Marathon often have twenty in Key West. The on-page SEO and GBP work has to be sharper, the content cadence has to be tighter, and the paid-ads instrumentation has to be more disciplined because the cost-per-conversion is higher. None of it is unwinnable — Key West clients we have worked with rank where they need to rank — it is just less forgiving of half-measures than the rest of the Keys.
Do you handle Cuban and Spanish-language audiences?
Currently English-only by default. Spanish-language landing pages can be scoped separately. For Key West specifically, where roughly 20 percent of households speak Spanish at home, this is a real consideration and we will not pretend the English-only site is doing the full job in that market.
Can you help with NMS / off-island events that drive Key West traffic?
Yes. Events-driven marketing (Fantasy Fest, Hemingway Days, Lobsterfest, the Bridge Run, music and culinary events) has a very specific cadence — pre-event awareness pushes, in-event social, post-event content — and we have run that calendar for clients before. It pairs especially well with paid social during the 6-week ramp.
